1. Is it necessary to have a shykart account to shop?

While it is not necessary to have a shykart account to shop and purchase items, it is certainly recommended to have one. You can shop by providing just your email ID.

Payments

How do I make a payment for a shykart purchase?

shykart offers multiple methods to make payments for your order: Credit Card & Debit Card (including American Express), Net Banking, and Cash on Delivery. All Credit/Debit card details remain confidential and private. shykart and our trusted payment gateways use SSL encryption technology to protect your card information.

Are there any hidden charges when I make a purchase on shykart (Octroi, Sales Tax)?

There are absolutely no hidden charges when you make a purchase with shykart. We offer free delivery if the order is Rs.500/- or over, otherwise you will be charged an additional Rs.50/- for delivery. The prices listed for all items are final and all-inclusive. The prices you see on our product pages are exactly what you pay for the item.

Is there any additional charge for Cash On Delivery?

Yes, we charge Rs.70/- in additional for Cash On Delivery.

How much are the delivery charges?

shykart provides free delivery on all items if your total order amount is Rs.500/- or more. Otherwise Rs.50/- is charged as delivery charges. Rs.70/- will be charged for any Cash on Delivery order since shykart needs to disburse the same to our courier partners.

What is the estimated delivery time?

The estimated time of delivery is mentioned on every page. It may differ from one item to another. Please read below for an explanation of delivery estimates:

Mentioned as 3 days delivery time : These items will also be mentioned as "In Stock". For all areas serviced by reputed couriers the delivery time will be 3 business days. For other areas, orders will be sent by Registered Post through the Indian Postal Service which may take 1-2 weeks depending on the location. Business days exclude public holidays and sundays.

Mentioned as more than 3 days delivery time : We procure and ship the items within the time specified on the item details page. Some items have to be imported from outside India. These items are mentioned sometimes as "Imported" on the item details page and can take 10 or more days to reach you. You can always rest assured that you will receive your order within the time specified.

Preorder or Forthcoming : These items are soon to be released and we prebook your item for you. The item will be shipped to you on the day of it's official release launch. The Preorder duration varies from item to item. Once known, release time and date is mentioned. Eg: 5th May, August 3rd week.

For Out of Stock items : Currently we do not have these products available for sale. Please use the "Notify Me" feature and we will let you know once it is available for sale at shykart.com.

Permanently Discontinued :This product is no longer available on shykart because it's obsolete and/or production for it has been discontinued.

With every order, you will receive an email containing the details of the order placed by you. Once we ship the item(s), you will receive another email containing the shipping details.

How will the delivery be done?

We process all deliveries through reputed couriers.

If there is no courier service available in your area, we will ship products via Government Registered Bookpost or Speedpost. If your order contains an electronics item (Mobiles, Gaming Consoles, Cameras, Laptops) we will get in touch with you and try to work out a convenient alternate delivery location that is serviced by our courier partners.

What about warranty and hidden costs (sales tax, octroi etc.)?

There are no extra taxes, hidden costs or additional shipping charges. The price mentioned on the website is the final price. What you see is what you pay. Our prices are all inclusive. All taxes are included with the list prices.

Why does the estimated delivery time vary from product to product?

Items which are labeled 'In Stock' on their respective product pages, are stocked in our various warehouses and usually takes 2-3 business days to reach our customers. Items which we will need to procure or import, are labeled 'Imported' on their respective product pages - the delivery of these items can vary between 2 and 4 weeks. Products which you can pre-book, and are labeled as 'Forthcoming' are dispatched on the release date of the particular product - release dates are mentioned on the product page.

· Does shykart deliver internationally?

shykart doesn't deliver items internationally. You are more than welcome to make your purchases on our site from anywhere in the world, but you'll have to ensure the Delivery Address is within India.

Courier

How are items packaged?

All items are carefully packaged at our warehouses - as to avoid any form of damage. We ensure the package is water proof with plastic wrap or bubble wrap.

How can I track the delivery of my order?

All shykart items are delivered through reputed courier partners (including our own internal courier service - shykart Logistics) - who will provide you with a Tracking ID for your order by which you can track your delivery on the respective websites of our courier partners.
